The Honda NA50'79 Express II

was sold in 1979 and came in three colors: Parakeet Yellow, Shiny Orange, and Angel Blue. It had twin chrome frame downtubes. It also had a wind-up spring starting system, points ignition, and manual choke. The engine was a 49cc 2-stroke single cylinder with oil injection and a one-speed automatic transmission. 1980 Honda Express II

The Honda NA50'80 Express II

was sold in 1980 and came in two colors: Parakeet Yellow, and Angel Blue (Shiny Orange was dropped this year). The twin chrome frame downtubes were replaced by a single chrome downtube. It also had a wind-up spring starting system, points ignition, and manual choke. The engine was a 49cc 2-stroke single cylinder with oil injection and a one-speed automatic transmission. The serial number began AB01-5100007.
1981 Honda Express II

The Honda NA50'81 Express II

was sold in 1981 and came in two colors: Angel Blue and Monza Red (this time the Parakeet Yellow was dropped). The points ignition was replaced with a CD ignition. The manual choke was replaced with an automatic choke. The wind-up spring starting system was replaced with a direct kick starting system. The engine was still a 49cc 2-stroke single cylinder with oil injection; but now the automatic transmission increased to a 2-speed. The serial number began JH2AB0110BS200008.
