1969 Honda
CL70 Scrambler 70 The Honda CL70 "Scrambler 70" for 1969 followed the pattern for all Scramblers: slightly raised handlebars, exhaust pipe upswept just above the crankcase and relatively horizontal. This model was sold in 1969 and was available in two colors: Candy Red with silver and Candy Blue with silver. The frame and swingarm were painted the candy color; but the headlight bucket was silver and so was the fuel tank. The badge was stamped into the tank and a rubber knee patch was attached to the rear sides of the tank. The speedometer was housed in the headlight bucket. The upper fork covers (i.e., fork ears) were chrome. The engine was an OHC single cylinder displacing 72cc. It had a 4-speed transmission and manual clutch. The engine serial number began CL70-100002.
